The asana lab are tutorial style videos to work into peak postures. These are intermediate level practices and it is recommended to undertake another yoga practice first to warm up the body.

Covering the key element of coming into the king of asanas - sirsasana A. It has this title not because everyone should do it or it’s special but inversions have the ability to shift our perspective and draw prana to high energy centres.

Only embark on this one if you’ve had headstand practice in studio with your teacher.

Recommended props: 2 blocks, wall space

Note: headstand shouldn’t be practiced for anyone with previous neck issues, injuries, glaucoma, high blood pressure. if you’re not sure if this is contraindicated for you, check with your health care practitioner.
